I remember around the time I took these, I was really into this sort of relaxed, menswear looks. I was getting really into pajama sets around that time too. Ironic, given in a few short years we’d all be in pajamas all the time. But even in the post-covid world, I still LOVE pajama sets for everyday wear. This one comes with a tween inspired twist - soundtrack including Sk8er Boi, by Avril Lavigne, When I Come Around by Green Day, and Brutal by Olivia Rodrigo.
This girl, she’s listening to these on her curated spotify playlist, titled I was a teenage emo-punk, and she likes to walk around pretending she’s still that angsty fifteen year old, despite the fact that she was never really that angsty in the first place. And the fact that she’s wearing hawaiian print with a yacht club necklace. She runs around the lower east side, sometimes working for her social media job for a cool instagram brand that’s just about to hit it big you know? By night you can find her either catching movies at metrograph or getting dinner at Kiki’s. IYKYK is her everyday mantra.
