Kilty Pleasures
Shot 11.2.16 by Danielle Amadeo
Fall came upon us brutally quickly this year. Like BAM. It means, from a fashion perspective, I’m in a rush to wear everything that screams fall, before we have to change the looks with bigger coats and tights and all the things we need to do when you’re actually being functional which is like a dirty word in fashion or whatever. These pictures are from a shoot I did up in Maine about five years ago. And I’d defintely say that there are some things that feel very 2016 about the look (Hello my Ombré hair, anyone?) Also, I was really proud of this copy caption I wrote then, so of course had to keep it.
Generally, I like to think of an outfit as telling a story. I make up little storylines to be a background at the and this one involves moors and Scotland, and a little bit of a seaside romance. And then she goes and studies in Edinburgh because she loves the city so much. And then she goes back to work at her marketing job, all while dreaming of a moody landscape. Hey, Whatever gets you through the day right?
