I’ve always been a sucker for a movie inspired ‘costume’ look. Especially one that you can wear, in real life too. Cue, this awesome Sara Battaglia look from a few years ago. If your first thought isn’t, duh, that’s Cher, then all I have to ask is… where have you been for the last 25-odd years? Clueless is an EXCELLENT movie. I will fight you on this. Plus, the fact that it is actually a reimagining of Emma (I’ll write something later on all those great’s 90’s and 00’s teen adaptions of classic literature another day,) but back to this look. Yellow isn’t typically a color I go for, but I think accessorizing with some of the more modern updates (as of 2019 at least) makes it feel fresh, even if it is a costume homage. And need a 2021 update? This definitely feels like something Emily in Paris would wear. For sure.
